This page sets out the terms and conditions that apply to purchases of JBE LED dimmers and related products from the Dimmerled website, as well as the terms governing your use of this website.
By accessing or using this site, creating an account, or placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the site or place an order.
These terms operate in addition to, and should be read together with, our Warranty & Returns and Privacy Policy pages, which provide further detail on warranty coverage, returns procedures and how we handle your personal information.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you place your order or use the site will apply to that transaction or use.
In these terms, unless the context requires otherwise:
- JBE Hitech, we, us or our means JBE Hitech, the business that designs, manufactures and supplies the LED dimmer products featured on this site.
- Dimmerled website or site means the website located at dimmerled.com.au and any of its subpages.
- Customer, you or your means any person or entity accessing the site, placing an order or otherwise dealing with us through the site.
- Goods or products means the LED dimmers and any related items offered for sale on this site.
- Order means a request by you to purchase goods from us via the site, whether or not payment has yet been processed.
- Business day means a day on which banks are open for business in Queensland, Australia, excluding weekends and public holidays.
- Warranty & Returns means our separate Warranty & Returns page, which sets out detailed warranty terms and the process for returning goods.
- Privacy Policy means our separate Privacy Policy page, which explains how we collect, use and protect personal information.
All orders are subject to our acceptance and the availability of goods. Submitting an order on the site does not by itself create a binding contract. A contract is formed only when we confirm acceptance of your order, which may be by email confirmation, issue of an invoice, or dispatch of the goods, whichever occurs first.
Prices displayed on the site are in Australian dollars (AUD) unless otherwise stated. We use reasonable efforts to keep pricing accurate, but we may correct errors at any time. If we discover a material pricing or description error after you place an order, we may contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the corrected price or cancel the order.
Unless clearly stated otherwise, prices shown exclude shipping charges. Applicable shipping costs will be calculated and displayed during checkout or advised prior to order confirmation.
Any applicable taxes, duties or government charges (for example GST, if applicable) will be added as required by law and shown on the invoice or checkout summary.
Payment methods accepted are as listed on the site at the time you place your order. You authorise us to charge the payment method you provide for the total amount of your order, including any taxes and shipping. We may decline or cancel an order if payment is not successfully authorised or if we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse.
You are responsible for ensuring that all order details you provide are complete and accurate, including product selection, quantities, delivery address and contact information. We are not liable for losses arising from incorrect information you provide, but we will act reasonably to assist in resolving issues where possible.
We will arrange dispatch of goods to the delivery address you specify in your order, using the carrier or method we reasonably select unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Any shipping or delivery timeframes indicated on the site or in communications are estimates only. While we aim to dispatch promptly, we do not guarantee delivery dates and are not liable for delays outside our reasonable control, including delays caused by carriers, customs or events of force majeure.
Risk in the goods passes to you when the goods are delivered to the delivery address you have provided or, where you arrange your own collection or transport, when the goods are made available for collection. From that point you are responsible for loss, damage or deterioration.
You must inspect goods as soon as reasonably practicable after delivery and notify us promptly if you believe there is any damage, short delivery or incorrect supply. Instructions for making such claims, and for returning goods where appropriate, are set out on our Warranty & Returns page.
If delivery is delayed or fails because the delivery address or contact details you provided are incorrect or incomplete, or because nobody is available to accept the goods where a signature is required, any additional redelivery or storage charges may be passed on to you.
Our goods must be installed, configured and used in accordance with applicable laws, standards and the technical information we provide. Installation and wiring should be carried out only by suitably qualified and licensed persons where required by local regulations.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject always to any non-excludable consumer guarantees or statutory rights that apply, we exclude all warranties, representations and conditions not expressly stated in these terms or in our Warranty & Returns page.
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with the supply or use of the goods, or your use of this site, is limited at our option to: (a) in the case of goods, repair or replacement of the goods, resupply of equivalent goods, or payment of the cost of doing so; and (b) in the case of services, resupply of the services or payment of the cost of resupply.
Except where liability cannot be limited or excluded by law, we are not liable for any loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of data, loss of production, loss of opportunity, or any indirect, special or consequential loss or damage, whether arising in contract, tort (including negligence), statute or otherwise.
The technical content on this site is provided to assist competent users in selecting and applying our products. While we use reasonable efforts to keep the information accurate and up to date, it is general in nature and may not account for all installation conditions or system interactions. You remain responsible for verifying that any design, installation or configuration is suitable for your specific application.

Without limiting this, you must not introduce malicious code, attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or associated systems, or use the site in a way that could impair it for other users.
All intellectual property rights in the Dimmerled website and its content, including text, diagrams, schematics, graphics, logos, product names and documentation, are owned by or licensed to JBE Hitech. Except as permitted by law, you must not reproduce, modify, adapt, distribute, publish or create derivative works from any part of the site without our prior written consent.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to access and view the site and to download or print technical materials solely for the purpose of evaluating, installing, operating or maintaining JBE dimmer products. You must not remove any copyright or proprietary notices from such materials.
Use of any trademarks, trade names or logos displayed on the site is strictly prohibited without our prior written permission. Nothing in these terms grants you any right, title or interest in or to any of our intellectual property, other than the limited licence described above.
Links from this site to third-party websites, if provided, are for convenience only. We do not control and are not responsible for the content or accuracy of third-party sites, and inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement.
These terms and conditions, and any disputes arising out of or relating to them, the goods, or your use of this site, are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland and any courts competent to hear appeals from those courts.
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be applied to the maximum extent permitted by law and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
